A pattern inside a pattern.

A nested loop is a loop inside another loop. Each time the outer loop runs, the inner loop starts again. This is useful for grids and repeated patterns.

Your mission: nested loops

Use two nested repeat blocks. The outside repeats 2 times, the inside 3 times, and Bit says Star! inside. Print 6 stars in total.

Place the 3-repeat loop inside the 2-repeat loop, with say inside both.

How do I use these blocks?

Pick a category on the left to see its blocks. Drag a block onto the canvas. Instructions connect in a stack inside “when I press Run”. Rounded value blocks go into sockets. Change a field by selecting the word, number, or dropdown on the block.

Use the canvas zoom controls or Fit blocks if a stack goes out of view. Undo can bring back an accidental change. Disconnected blocks do not run. Your canvas saves here on this device.
